Hey everyone, I'm Katy. Your friendly neighborhood cinematic designer!
I've now worked in the games industry for 5 years at Supermassive Games, where they really helped me to hone my talent when it comes to cinematics. From cinematography to creating and integrating assets to create an entire scene, I have helped it all come together.
I learned especially quickly and have managed to work up to lead designer in just under 2 years. This role encompasses all aspects of design, from prototyping, level design and cinematics themselves. I find myself especially excelling in cinematics and helping to mentor a wide range of people. I have successfully interviewed for designers on The Dark Pictures many times over the past few years.
As well as a clear passion for games (I love Witcher 3, Baldur's Gate 3, The Elder Scrolls, Fallout, Divinity Original Sin, Bioshock etc), I am also a fan of a vast selection of film and TV (Godzilla Minus One, The Truman Show, Nimona, most Jordan Peele films, The Walking Dead, Game of Thrones, Westworld).
I have a cross bengal-tabby cat called Amber who is coming up to 12 years old now. She acts like a dog, but only on her terms and when she wants to. She's a sweety really.
